The AquaReady Frozen Fish Food Strainer is an excellent tool to keep your aquarium cleaner. While frozen fish foods are nutritious and beneficial for your fish, the liquid from thawing can contain phosphates, nitrates, and binders that can foul your water. Using the strainer allows you to separate the food (the part you want) from the thawed liquid (the part you don't want). AquaReady Food Strainers are designed for large to medium chunk foods and have laser-cut holes that are slightly larger than baby Mysis shrimp.
